Paddlin' Around Popcorn

Yesterday I wanted to try a paddle all the way to the dam from the causeway. But between me not getting to the causeway until about 6 PM and a popcorn storm blowing through, I chose to just dink around in the river. I didn't even completely miss out on the storm; despite all the clouds being over town not the river, I still got pelted by heavy rain for something like 30 seconds. I did manage a couple of pics of a rainbow and some nice pics of "butter like water", wake boarding term for what I call glass like water. I ended up with just 3 miles.
